The original Claude credential, launched in March 2026 and priced at $125. It went up from an early access price of $99 during the first half of the year, which is a useful reminder that these numbers move. You will also see it written as CCA-F, which is the shorthand most prep sites use.

There is no formal prerequisite forcing you to pass Foundations first, but the content assumes you have already done the job. This is aimed at architects who own delivery across a whole organization, not at people learning the platform.

Who Can Actually Take a Claude Certification Exam

This is the part most articles bury, so here it is plainly. Anthropic’s Partner Academy certification FAQ states that “certification is available to people at Claude Partner Network organizations”. How to Get Claude Certification, Step by Step

The order matters here, because step one disqualifies a lot of people and there is no point studying before you clear it.

1. Check your eligibility first. You need a work email on a domain belonging to an organization in the Claude Partner Network. If your company is not a member, joining is free at the Registered tier, but somebody has to register the firm.
2. Create an Anthropic Partner Academy account using that company email address.
3. Download the exam guide for the certification you want. Each exam publishes its own guide with the domain breakdown, and it is the only authoritative description of what is on the test.
